The adventure of LittleRed

The game <The adventure of Little Red> is a 2D Adventure game, and its platform is WINDOWS. It is built based on OGRE, programmed in C++. It is a group project, my roles in team are game designer and programmer.

Group Member: Me & Wu Hao & Liu Feng

The aim of the game is to get to the destination inthe shortest time without being caught by the patrolling wolves in shortest time, and there aretwo levels contained in the game. Players could gain two skills by picking up two differentmushrooms. Here are the two kinds of mushrooms:

 

Poison mushrooms: could be picked up and placed anywhere, and the wolves wouldbe dead if they touch the poison mushrooms.

Jump mushrooms: players could gain a skill called jump which could be used one time by picking up the jump mushrooms. “Jump” could allow the players to jump over one grid andignore the terrain.

 

The intention is to design a game in which the control is very easy, but the game contents arevery interesting so that players could play repeatedly without feeling bored

ALWAYS Keep PLAYERS in Mind

Bejeweled Game

The game is a group project, and my roles in it are the game designer, and the programmer.

Group Member: Me & Wu Hao 

This game is built on C++ and GUI, and its platform is windows.

 

In this game, if mroe than three gems with the same color form a line, the gems will be removed and the player will get points. When the player click the boom, the surrounding 8 gems will be removed.

You may use the refresh button to refresh all the gems, and you have two chances. In addition you may pause the game anytime you like and restart it.There are the total scores, remaining time, and the combos showing on the right.

The aim of the game is to get higher and higher marks.

 

The idea of this game is to design a very easy, fluent and cheerful bejeweled game. There is few rules, and players may focus on removing the gems continuously and get higher and higher marks. 

The Magic Guide

The game <The Magic Guide> is a 3D room escaping game, and its platform is WINDOWS. It is a team work, and my roles in team are game designer and programmer.

Group Member: Me & Wu Hao & Liu Feng

It is built based on OGRE, programmed in C++. The aim of the game is to solve the puzzles in each ofthe rooms and finally get out of all the rooms.

There are three kinds of magic that could be usedby the player: 

Thunder: player could use thunder magic to move some items, such as the chair.

Fire: player could use fire magic to light some items, such as the candles. 

Ice: player could use ice magic to extinguish the fire.

In addition, there are some other items could be useful for the player to solve the puzzles in eachroom.

Intention of the game:
1. To create a real 3D experience game, in which player could move and see everywhere to investigate and then find the clues for the puzzles. 

2. To create additional puzzles in each rooms, and to try to use up every elements in each room,which could only be supported by a real 3D experience. 

Shadow Psycho

The game is a group project, and my roles in team are game designer, drawer, and the programmer.

Group Member: Me & Wu Hao 

This game is built on Unity3D, and its platform is android. 

The game is a escaping game called Shadow Psycho. That means that the enemy is the shadow of the player, and it will automatically appear, and chase the player. If the player is caught, the player will die. In addition,the energy of the player would be displayed at the left top corner. When the energy come to 0, the game will end too.

Energy boxes will randomly refresh on the map. For escaping from the enemy, there are some useful skills and equipments:

1. shift-move: to move to another world for seconds to avoid being caught by enemies.

2. run: To move faster to avoid being caught by enemies.

3. blink: To move a distance to avoid being caught by enemies.

4. defence tower: To kill surrounding enemies when it is active.

5. transport gate: To move to another transport gate randomly.

 

The Idea of the game is to create a time-killing small game, and the game will not be such difficult, but many skills and equipment will make the game more interesting and exciting. Players could compare their scores(time) with other players.

GhostS from the past

                                                                                                                Sep.2016

The prototype is a individual Four days assignment, and it is a unity game.

The aim of the game is to get the cheses as well as escaping from your past ghosts. When Player just finish one level and move on to the next level, your ghost from the past will appear and move like what you move just now. Player need to manage the routes they would use to go to the chests, especially when player are in the high level, because there will be many ghosts!

Hexahedron

Game Description: It is a turn based game, the idea is to help the Henry to collect all the rocket parts by rotating the cubes as well as leading ways for Henry. There are enemies on the cube, and they aim at catching Henry.

Ghost Room

Game Description: The game happened when someone entered the room, and the ghost boy want to play with someone. At first, ghost boy does not realize that he has dead, but he realize it with the development of the game.

The Lily & the Dak

Cat Catch Mice

cat's job is to catch all the mouses! 
For mouses, two mices come together will generate little mouse, and do not give up even if you were caught by cat! you can control the little mouse instead.
